I was lost
at that moment
you were looking at me
with eyes that feel
with silent intensity
listening intently
and I had to catch myself
from falling and failing
to keep my heart still
when everything else vanished
clouding my thoughts
of my throbbing within
and what stays is my reach
towards you, in between.
